Head of Sales (Wholesale and Pharmacy Channel)

For our client, a multinational pharmaceutical company, we are seeking a candidate for the position of:

Head of Sales (Wholesale and Pharmacy Channel)

 

Responsibilities:

1. Sales Strategy and Development

  • Develop and implement sales strategy to pharmaceutical wholesalers and pharmacy chains (both large and smaller).
  • Setting product sales targets (RX and OTC) and their execution.

 

2. Relationships with Key Partners

  • Maintain and develop relationships with large pharmacy chains - more than 200 locations.
  • Cooperation with major pharmaceutical wholesalers.
  • Commercial negotiations and building lasting business relationships.

 

3. Budget Management

  • Planning, allocation and control of commercial budget.
  • Documented management of a large budget - both at the planning and execution level.

 

4. Team Management

  • Managing a team of KAMs, responsible for wholesalers and large pharmacy chains.
  • Supervise a structure of Pharmacy Representatives, through RKSs and Field Force Manager, who are responsible for smaller pharmacy chains.

 

5. Strategic and Operational Dimension

  • Full responsibility for commercial strategy - from plan to execution and reporting.

 

6. Cooperation with the Board of Directors

  • Reporting directly to the CEO.

 

Competencies and experience:

  • Knowledge of the pharmaceutical market: wholesale structures, pharmacy chains, specifics of RX and OTC drug sales.
  • Demonstrated success in wholesale management.
  • Very good English language.
  • Managerial maturity.
