For one of our clients, a dynamically growing company in the renewable energy sector, we are looking for a candidate for the position of:
Renewable Energy Specialist
Wrocław, hybrid model
Responsibilities:
- Monitoring national and EU legal regulations concerning the renewable energy sector (energy law, renewable energy act, CSRD, EU taxonomy, environmental regulations)
- Analysis and interpretation of legal regulations relevant to the company's operations, in particular those concerning investments in photovoltaics, wind energy and energy storage
- Support in the preparation of legal and regulatory documentation, licence applications, environmental decisions, administrative permits
- regulatory and environmental due diligence processes for planned investments
- Cooperation with law firms and public institutions (URE, PSE, OSD, GDOŚ, RDOŚ)
- Preparation of materials for audits and compliance reports
- Development of internal procedures and recommendations regarding compliance with applicable regulations
Requirements:
- Higher education in law or administration (specializations welcome: energy law, environmental protection, public administration)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a position related to regulations in the energy or environmental sector
- Knowledge of energy law, the Renewable Energy Sources Act, construction law, environmental protection and administrative procedures
- Very good command of English
- Analytical thinking and ability to work with legal documents
- Independence, meticulousness, ability to formulate written opinions and positions
- Experience in dealing with public administration bodies is welcome
