Maintenance Technician (USA)

For our Client – an international food manufacturing group – we are conducting a recruitment process for the position of Maintenance Technician at the production facility located in Mishawaka, Indiana (USA).

This opportunity is addressed to experienced maintenance professionals who are genuinely considering relocation to the United States and are interested in long-term employment within a stable manufacturing organization.


Key Responsibilities

  • Preventive and corrective maintenance of production and packaging equipment

  • Troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems

  • Supporting equipment setup, calibration, and optimization

  • Responding to breakdowns and minimizing production downtime

  • Close cooperation with Production and Quality teams

  • Maintaining accurate technical and maintenance documentation

  • Participation in continuous improvement and reliability initiatives

  • Strict adherence to safety regulations and food manufacturing standards


Required Profile

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial maintenance
    (food manufacturing or FMCG environment preferred)

  • Strong mechanical background; electrical and PLC knowledge as an advantage

  • Hands-on, problem-solving approach and technical independence

  • Willingness to work in a 3-shift system with weekend work (4 crews)

  • Good command of English, enabling daily communication in a manufacturing environment

  • Strong motivation and readiness to relocate to the United States

  • Long-term mindset and interest in career growth within the organization


Work Organization

  • 3-shift system, 4 crews

  • Weekend work is a standard part of the schedule

  • 2 Maintenance Technicians per shift (not a single-person operation)


Visa Sponsorship & Relocation & Working Conditions

  • Full-time, hourly employment

  • Overtime paid at 1.5× hourly rate

  • Full employment-based visa sponsorship (appropriate category determined with immigration counsel)

  • All legal and administrative costs covered by the employer

  • Relocation package and up to 2 round trips to Europe for the employee and their family within the first year
