For our client, an international pharmaceutical company specializing in generic drugs, we are looking for a candidate for the position of:
Head of Marketing
Warsaw
Responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing a marketing strategy for all product lines (Rx) in line with the company's business objectives.
- Managing a team of Product Managers and the marketing communications department.
- Developing brand and product positioning strategies, including launch and re-launch plans.
- Supervising the preparation of promotional materials in accordance with pharmaceutical law requirements and compliance policy.
- Analyzing the market, competition, therapeutic trends, and analytical data.
- Working with the sales department to create campaigns that support commercial results.
- Working with the medical, regulatory, and production departments on portfolio planning and offer optimization.
- Overseeing the marketing budget and the effectiveness of activities (ROI, KPI).
- Supporting decision-making processes regarding the introduction of new products and line extensions.
- Representing the company in contacts with external partners and industry media.
Competencies and experience:
- Minimum 8–10 years of experience in marketing in the pharmaceutical industry, including at least 3 years in a managerial position.
- Experience working in a generic (Rx) company.
- Knowledge of the rules for introducing and promoting Rx drugs, including legal regulations.
- Practical knowledge of NPD processes, market analysis, segmentation, and brand positioning.
- Experience in team management and marketing budget management.
- Strong analytical and strategic skills.
- Fluent English.
- Higher education.
- Strategic thinking and ability to combine commercial and scientific perspectives.
- Ability to work in matrix structures and a regulated environment.
- Focus on results and effective implementation of plans.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
