Senior Billing Specialist (Electricity)
For our Client from the energy sector, we are looking for an experienced professional to take on an independent role within electricity settlements and metering data analysis. This position is suited for someone who is comfortable working analytically, understands billing processes, and can efficiently manage data in a regulated environment.
Location: Warsaw
Hybrid work model (minimum 3 days per week from the office)
Scope of Responsibilities

analysis, verification, and quality control of electricity metering data,

preparation and execution of electricity settlements for clients based on system data,
-
entering, updating, and overseeing the accuracy of data in billing systems,
-
reporting data to external systems and for internal organizational needs,
-
working with energy market data – preparation, processing, and ongoing control,
-
day-to-day cooperation with clients regarding settlements and clarification of discrepancies,
-
substantive support for the team in daily operational tasks,
-
participation in improving settlement processes and data quality.
Requirements

secondary or higher education (preferred fields: economics, finance, management, IT),
-
very good command of MS Excel, including work with large data sets (mandatory),
-
solid knowledge of basic statistics and data analysis,
-
experience working with metering data and billing systems – preferably within the energy sector,
-
high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and analytical mindset,
-
ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned responsibilities,
-
strong communication skills and ability to cooperate with various stakeholders,
-
additional asset: knowledge of Power Query, VBA, or other tools automating data processing.
