Technical Director (Energy)

For our Client – one of the leading Polish construction and engineering groups, actively developing its energy segment – we are conducting a recruitment process for the position of:

Technical Director (Energy)

Location: Katowice / Southern Poland


The role focuses on strategic and operational supervision of energy projects, including investments in power generation sources, energy infrastructure, technological installations, as well as modernization and decarbonization projects.

 


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Technical supervision over the execution of energy contracts (EPC / general contracting)

  • Responsibility for technological solutions, execution standards, and overall project quality

  • Support and substantive oversight of delivery teams: contract directors, project managers, and site engineers

  • Participation in the preparation of energy investments, including analysis of documentation, technologies, schedules, and technical risks

  • Supervision of technical project budgets and initiation of optimization initiatives

  • Cooperation with the tendering department in preparing offers within the energy and industrial infrastructure sectors

  • Coordination of cooperation with designers, technology suppliers, and key subcontractors

  • Ensuring compliance of project execution with legal regulations, industry standards, and Group policies

  • Cooperation with investors, energy companies, and institutional partners

  • Building and developing a strong safety culture and high HSE standards across energy projects

 


REQUIREMENTS:

  • University degree in a technical field (energy engineering, mechanical engineering, construction, environmental engineering, or related)

  • Minimum 5–7 years of managerial experience in the execution of energy or industrial projects

  • Proven experience in delivering energy, installation, or infrastructure investments

  • Very good knowledge of execution processes, energy technologies, and project-based working environments

  • Ability to manage multidisciplinary teams

  • Experience in cooperation with energy-sector investors

  • Strong decision-making, analytical, and organizational skills

  • Strong commitment to occupational safety and HSE standards
