Currently, for our Client from the automotive industry, we are looking for Candidates for the position of:
Communication Director EAST
Location: Warsaw
Hybrid work model
Reporting to: Managing Director of the Region
Team: 6 people
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement an internal and external communications plan to support Company's operational strategy and business objectives in line with the corporate communications policy.
- Plan, organize and host events, such as motor shows, press events (media test drives, product announcement and product launch), corporate design, and other special events, with media interviews and reporting.
- Ensure press and social media monitoring to anticipate or manage potential countries/product crisis situations.
- Provide the corporate communications department with relevant information.
- Create storytelling and strengthen the interest of journalists and key opinion leaders (KOLs) for the company and its products.
- Establish processes to generate continuous flow of news and stories across the countries and promote in appropriate channels.
- Lead communication (external and internal) related to the Company in the subordinate region and ensure leadership of the community of press officers from different countries.
- Together with the press officers build brand and reputation of the Company with increase in share of voice (SOV) and PR Value, Cision indicators.
- Carry out internal communication initiatives, such as townhall meetings for employees, distribution of monthly newsletters, to ensure the cascading of information from the management to employees.
- Implement the transformation of the Communication Department:
- from support function to the strategic partner of the company
- build qualitative relationship with new stakeholders (influencers, key opinion leaders, young generation)
- develop cooperation with Lifestyle & tech media
- use various communication platforms (videos, podcasts, SoMe…)
- improve tech image of the brand
- develop leader advocacy program
- develop media impact outside automotive market
- Collaborate closely with Marketing department to amplify the success of its own activations.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Communication, Marketing, Journalism.
- 15 to 20 years of working experiences in Communication, in automotive sector preferred.
- Experience of working in a multinational company is a plus.
- Fluent English and good presentation skills.
