For our Client, a reputable company operating in the energy construction sector, we are seeking an experienced professional for the position of:
Contract Manager (f/m)
Location: Katowice
Project: Construction and modernization of high-voltage transmission lines 110/220/400 kV
Scope of responsibilities:
• End-to-end management of energy-construction contracts (preparation, execution, budget).
• Selection of subcontractors and preparation of subcontracting agreements.
• Leading coordination meetings and maintaining ongoing communication with all project stakeholders.
• Supervising the process of obtaining permits and approvals from external authorities.
• Monitoring quality and timeliness of works, ensuring compliance with HSE and fire safety regulations.
• Overseeing the construction schedule and maintaining all required project documentation.
• Coordinating and supervising internal teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Periodic reporting on project progress and financial performance.
• Managing financial settlements for completed works.
Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Higher technical education.
• Proficiency in MS Project (intermediate level).
• Communicative English (min. B2; cooperation with international suppliers).
• Category B driving licence and availability to work on site in Katowice.
• Experience in team management.
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
• Experience managing projects valued at min. 20 million PLN within the last 5 years.
Nice to have:
• Unlimited construction licences (structural or installation).
• Experience in projects delivered for PSE or major distribution system operators (DSOs).
• Knowledge of works on live high-voltage lines.
