Quality Manager (Heavy Industry)

For our Client – an international company operating in the heavy industry sector, delivering production, assembly and large-scale infrastructure projects – we are currently looking for a candidate for the position of:

Quality Manager – Heavy Industry

Location: Kraków | on-site role


Responsibilities:

  • full responsibility for the Quality Management System in a heavy industry environment (production, prefabrication, assembly, project execution),

  • implementation, maintenance and continuous improvement of quality systems in accordance with standards including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001,

  • supervision of quality within production, welding, assembly processes and in-process inspections,

  • close cooperation with Production, Engineering, Technology, Projects, Procurement and HSE departments,

  • preparation for and active participation in internal, external, customer and certification audits,

  • management of non-conformities, complaints and corrective and preventive actions (CAPA),

  • supervision of quality documentation, including ITPs, control plans, procedures and work instructions,

  • cooperation with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure compliance with quality requirements,

  • quality risk analysis during production and project execution phases,

  • reporting quality KPIs to management and recommending process improvement actions.

 


Requirements:

  • minimum 5 years of experience in quality management within heavy industry / industrial manufacturing / engineering projects,

  • solid practical knowledge of quality standards and audit processes,

  • experience in working with technical and project documentation,

  • knowledge of production, assembly, welding or steel structure processes will be a strong asset,

  • ability to perform root cause analysis (8D, RCA, FMEA – nice to have),

  • strong organizational skills and experience in managing a quality team,

  • communicative level of English enabling cooperation in an international environment,

  • higher technical education (mechanical engineering, production engineering, power engineering or related fields).
