Commercial Director (Energy Construction)

For our Client – an energy construction company delivering end-to-end EPC projects and industrial installation modernisations – we are currently seeking a:

Commercial Director – Energy Construction (Energetics)
Location: Warsaw

Role purpose: Co-creates the commercial policy, sales strategy and sales plans; plays an active role in the preparation of selected bids; negotiates agreements with partners and clients; safeguards the company’s market reputation; represents the organisation at industry conferences and sector events.


Scope of Responsibilities

Business Development & Sales

  • Deliver the company’s budget and shape the acquisition strategy.

  • Lead business development activities in the energy construction sector, while monitoring adjacent construction segments.

  • Acquire new contracts, identify market opportunities, track investments and competitive activity.

  • Negotiate commercial and contractual terms with investors and partners.

  • Develop and expand long-term partnerships with technology providers.

  • Build and maintain relationships with private investors, public institutions, contractors and broader industry stakeholders.

  • Represent the company at conferences, industry meetings and market events.

Internal Cooperation & Tendering Process

  • Work closely with the Energy Construction Tender Office.

  • Cooperate with Market Directors and the Tendering Director in acquisition, project delivery and business relationship development.

  • Collaborate with Construction Managers to validate tender accuracy and assumptions.

  • Identify competitive advantages and cost-optimisation opportunities.

  • Co-create commercial policy, sales strategy and development plans.

 


Qualifications

  • University degree (preferred: economics or construction).

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role (B2B environment and team management experience required).

  • Managerial experience within the energy construction sector.

  • Several years of experience in the energy or construction industry.

  • Knowledge of cost estimation principles.

  • Proficiency in MS Office.

  • Category B driving licence.
